We are a small family owned company combining the skills of an engineer and an educator. First started as a fire alarm business, Econotronics,  in 1978, now combines those products with a wide variety of other products and services.  The president is also a volunteer fireman, a registered professional engineer with a Masters Degree from  NC State University, and has an in-depth  knowledge of fire protection.  The vice-president and director of Brewer Testing Services has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of North Carolina, and has 25 plus years of teaching and student testing knowledge.  In addition, we have expertise in Mobility products.  Dempsey Brewer, P. E. offers professional engineering services with 25 years experience in product and process development, Computational Fluids Dynamics (CFD) experience, as well as specialty and VB6^® & Visual Basic.Net^®  programming experience and Web Design.  He has experience in processes ranging from extrusion to high speed equipment design, even including molten glass and paper processes with limited experience in helicopter design and construction.  Our team is determined to provide those products and services that you may need to help make your life a little safer, your goals more accessible, and you more happy.
